BIOGRAPHY

Canadian guitarist, keyboardist, and music teacher based in Winnipeg.

Mark grew up in Northwestern Ontario studying a unique blend of jazz, classical and folk music as a young multi-instrumentalist. Since moving to Winnipeg in 2013, he has begun building an eclectic repertoire of original compositions centred around the guitar.

He released his first solo album, "Prognosis", in August 2015, which consisted of nine instrumental tracks spanning such genres as rock, jazz, acoustic, metal, and ambient music. He later released an acoustic EP entitled "The Sound of Light" in 2017, and subsequently began recording his second full-length album which will be released in 2018.

Besides his solo work, he also has recorded and performed extensively with progressive metal band Grand Master since 2013, with progressive hard rock band Attilan since 2016, and also in the local pop/soul-oriented Stacey James Band since early 2017.

Mark teaches guitar and bass lessons at Tauber Music School, one of Canada's largest independent music schools. (16 Britannica Road, Winnipeg)
